Colour: Cream
Roll Size: From 6mm to 1450mm in 25 Metre Lengths
Adhesive: Rubber Synthetic
Description: A natural coloured crepe paper backed tape, laminated to uni-directional fibreglass filaments and coated with a “hot melt” synthetic rubber adhesive.
Application: The paper backing can be easily marked with pen, crayon or rubber stamp and the tape can be used for a myriad of strapping and bundling applications requiring a medium grade filament tape e.g. bundling plastic and metal extrusions, carpets and textiles. Stabilising of pallet loads and reinforcing and bundling of cartons. Other applications include for use as a “Grading Tape” in the meat industry and for the bundling of explosive sticks and fuses.
Technical Details:
Tape Thickness: | 0.23mm |
1800 Peel Adhesion: | 8.3 N/cm |
Tensile Strength: | 320 N/cm |
Elongation at Break: | 5% |
Service Temperature: | 0ºC to 60ºC |
Surface Preparation: The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 15ºC and 30ºC.
Storage: Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
Note: The above figures represent average values. Actual figures can vary. The selection and
application of a tape is the responsibility of the buyer. Tape should be stored at room
temperature and should not be exposed to sunlight. We reserve the right to make changes
without notice to our products and specifications.
